Keen Tours is a family-run ecotourism company based in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, dedicated to creating sustainable, meaningful, and immersive nature experiences. Our work is rooted in a deep respect for the natural environment, local culture, and the communities that have shaped this mountain landscape over centuries. Through carefully designed guided tours, we invite visitors to explore one of Europe’s most remarkable protected areas, spanning two countries as the UNESCO’s Gerês-Xurés Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, while contributing positively to its conservation and long-term resilience.

Our experiences combine interpretive hikes, wildlife and biodiversity discovery, and genuine contact with local ways of life. Guests have the opportunity to understand traditional agro-pastoral systems, community land management practices, and the cultural heritage that makes this territory unique. Rather than simply visiting the landscape, travellers are encouraged to engage with it, gaining insight into the delicate balance between people and nature that defines Peneda-Gerês.

We actively support the local economy also through LOJA do PARQUE, an initiative that promotes regional products, traditional crafts, and small-scale producers.
