Gerês Tour

We’ll drive up and down the hills of Gerês and show you what few people ever get to enjoy. A Keen Tours’ day trip to Gerês offers a complete experience unfolding the History, Culture and Nature on the Peneda-Gerês National Park.

Explore the mountains hiking through centuries old paths that cut through luxuriant woods and reaching the best viewpoints to savor fantastic views.

Experience a forest included in the European Network of Biogenetic Reserves and a bit of the 318 km (198 miles) of the geira – the roman highway Via XVIII from Braga (former Bracara Augusta) to Astorga (Asturica Augusta), in Spain.

Depending on the weather, bathe in the fresh, clear waters of the mountain waterfalls or soak in the hot springs used since (at least) the romans, admire the newborn baby horses in the woods or enjoy the magnificent colour palette of the leaves falling – whatever the season, the tour is bound to amaze you.
