Is Keen Tours allowed to operate within the Peneda-Gerês National Park?2026-03-01T13:01:06+00:00

Yes. It is a recognised tourism company providing outdoor, adventure, nature, and cultural activities, registered in RNAAT (a national registry managed by the Tourism of Portugal), with the number 767/2016. Keen Tours is also licensed to provide nature tourism activities and, therefore, to operate within protected areas with the same registration.

Can I bring my kids?2026-03-01T13:31:25+00:00

Yes. Children are very welcome in most of our tours – just check the specifics. We chose 2-year-olds as the youngest age for most tours, so they are likely to enjoy the tour and let parents enjoy it too. We have child car seats available and can adapt the meals for the youngsters. Mind that children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult responsible for their supervision at all times. Hopefully we can pass on some concerns about nature and heritage conservation to the next generation.
