Stand Up Paddle

You won’t believe how wonderful it feels sliding on the peaceful waters of a lake and discovering some of its secret spots.

After a few minutes learning how to “pilot” your board, all your senses will be completely dedicated to the nature surrounding you (really, apart from our group, there’ll be no one else around – no speedboats, no jetskies, no banana boats). Don’t be troubled if you fall – you couldn’t get cleaner water straight from the mountains around you.

You will also drive through luxuriant woods recognized as part of the European Network of Biogenetic Reserves and on a historical Roman highway (Via XVIII, from Braga to Astorga), as well as unveil the past in the details of a wonderfully preserved village.

This is truly an exceptional way to experience Gerês.
