We propose a fabulous week in the unique Peneda-Gerês National Park riding a very comfortable e–bike.
During this circular crossing you will be able to enjoy many different areas, rich heritage and a few curiosities on a very pleasant tour in both Portuguese and Spanish (Galician) protected natural areas.
This traverse is organised in 3 + 3 days of cycling with 1 day off, to make sure your energy is restored for the second part of this beautiful adventure.
We tailored this comprehensive trip to share with you this vast territory and its differences in a one week route.
All you need is to know is how to ride a bike – don’t worry about this being an e-bike, it will only take you a few minutes to learn how to master it – everything else is taken care of: pick–up and drop–off at your accommodation in Braga or in villages along the way, packed lunches, snacks, water, photos and insurance are all included in this programme.
You will mainly use tar roads and well-maintained dirt roads, cycling through villages and forests, and crossing rivers in the wonderful scenery that is the unique Portuguese National Park.
You can choose to do this crossing at your own pace. Freely choose 1 or more stages, according to your availability, fitness level and interests. For example: you can choose 4 stages in a row or every other day; 3 Saturdays in a row; a few stages this month and some the next month, or even next year... you decide.
Each stage is a full-day tour on its own, meaning it always includes guides, pick-up and drop-off in Braga or around the area you will be hiking, packed lunches, snacks, water, insurance and photos.
Relax, everything is taken care of.
